Microsoft is already working on windows 8 and they showed the the copy , paste and replace experice trust me its best till now lastly they unveiled the look of windows 8
Windows 8 is going to have big and better diffrence than that of older versions of windows

if you are copying two files at a time you can pause one process of copying by just clicking on pause button for faster copy (for detail view the image below)

Similarly if u click more details buttons you get an speed rate also with graph if graph is green means process is going on if its yellow then means its pause
